It's the Simple Things

Education

Picture

Family

Picture
ACA incorporates Arkansas State Frameworks with individualized learning plans to create a solid foundation that will give each student the skills and confidence needed to become a lifelong learner. In addition to state-mandated educational goals and testing, ACA utilizes outdoor learning, in-house therapy, and a focus on growth mindset and mental toughness.

Foundational skills mixed with project-based learning helps students reach their academic goals. ACA's multi-layer approach to individual, small and large group instruction gives each student the high potential of success.

High expectations for behavior and facilitated parent involvement ensure safety and consistency for each of our students.
Families deserve to feel empowered and educated in regards to their child's ability to gain the skills and confidence to succeed. Children will realize their full potential when families and educators work in tandem to achieve student growth. ACA facilitates an extension of each students education to meet the individual children’s educational and social/emotional needs.

Families, staff, and students are not perfect but we all support one another and celebrate personal growth.

Community

Picture
Community outings give our students the opportunity to generalize and apply the skills they have learned on-site. Not only does it reinforce social skills, it reminds our children that they are part of a community; one they can engage with as a child and contribute to as an adult.
ACA facilitates approximately 15-20 “Field Fridays” each school year as an opportunity for our families. Hot Springs offers numerous age-appropriate opportunities that allow the student's education to expand into the community beyond the norms of a classroom!

Spiritual Growth

Picture
Part of the ACA framework includes Biblical teaching and scripture memorization for all students. We focus on 12 areas of Biblical character, books of the Bible and key passages, and basic Biblical concepts.

(Due to limited class sizes, please always check with our admissions office for openings to join our academy).
