ACA incorporates Arkansas State Frameworks with individualized learning plans to create a solid foundation that will give each student the skills and confidence needed to become a lifelong learner. In addition to state-mandated educational goals and testing, ACA utilizes outdoor learning, in-house therapy, and a focus on growth mindset and mental toughness.
Foundational skills mixed with project-based learning helps students reach their academic goals. Students are pulled in multiple small groups daily, based on areas where they excel or need extra help.
We hold high accountability for behavior to maintain safety and consistency in the classroom. The ACA model is framed around a growth mindset and classroom community.
Families deserve to feel empowered and educated in regards to their child's ability to gain the skills and confidence to succeed. Children will realize their full potential when families and educators work in tandem to achieve student growth. Our framework encourages frequent parent communication and consent over curriculum to meet individual children’s educational and social/emotional needs.
Families, staff, and students are not perfect but we all support one another and celebrate personal growth.
(Due to limited class sizes, please always check with our admissions office for openings and possible placement).
