Our Mission & Model
ACA uses a multi-tiered learning approach to match each child's learning pace and individual needs with our families. Working within the Arkansas State Frameworks curriculum, certified teachers strive to instill a life-long love of learning into each student. Outdoor learning, growth mindset, in-house therapy, and community engagement are strongly utilized within the teaching model of the Academy.
With an emphasis on academic and social/emotional growth, ACA families are given the opportunity to pursue an integrative approach to everyday learning and development. High expectations for behavior and facilitated parent involvement ensure safety and consistency for each of our students.

Our whole-child approach to learning addresses the physical, spiritual, emotional, and academic needs of each child. For us, it's all about fanning the F.L.A.M.E. of independent learning to develop a love of education and healthy habits that will last a lifetime. This approach consists of 5 key elements:
1. Faith-based
Our students have the ability to participate in morning worship and prayer time, as well as weekly lessons in Bible-based themes and memorization of selected scriptures. These lessons are centered on God's creation, love for humanity, salvation through Jesus, and encouragement for living out one's faith. Our lessons are cross-denominational and parents are able to facilitate at home with your children as you discuss your personal beliefs within your own family.
2. Life-ready leaders
Our goal is to remove any obstacle that would hinder a student from achieving his or her dream. Some students experience learning differences that threaten their academic success. Others need help developing a healthy work ethic. Other students simply need the freedom to explore their interests while receiving support in the areas where they may struggle. Our individualized approach to teaching provides each student with the tools needed to develop a life-long love for learning and to overcome any barrier standing in their way.
3. Anchored in Community
In addition to academic preparation, we encourage and offer our students opportunities to step into leadership roles both on-site and in the community. Through our non-profit 501(c)3 organization, Anchored619 in Allegiance, students are able to assist children with unique needs, volunteer opportunities, and fundraisers throughout the year. We also allow students to use their own unique set of skills and interests in leadership roles within the academy; such as teaching ballet classes, developing a student newsletter, and organizing special events for our families.
4. Multi-sensory Approach
One way ACA is uniquely equipped to support our students' path to success is through our therapy-based programs and therapeutic extension and multi-layer approach to the child's education. Through our incredible and highly qualified team of therapists, students can receive speech, physical, occupational and mental health, as well as support for learning differences like dyslexia, ADHD, processing disorders, and more.
We are also the first U.S. academic entity to partner with an innovative movement program, FMS for Schools, which is incorporated into our physical education enrichment and is another way our families can focus on their child's whole-body health and wellness.

5. Excellence in Academics
Our team of certified teachers, staff, and therapists is dedicated to both challenging and supporting student academics. An individualized approach to teaching means that your student is given the flexibility to remain engaged in the areas in which they excel while receiving the appropriate level of instruction for other subjects of study. Our students have the ability to participate in state-wide testing which has proven time and again that our approach to education is effective in student academic growth from year to year.
