Education
ACA created an online and in-house resource for students. Students who may be struggling with traditional curriculum and need a more targeted approach to learning can receive systematic instruction through ACA's "Therapeutically Enhanced Education" utilizing evidence-based programs in the following areas:
Phonics Oral Language, Phonological and Phonemic Awareness, Comprehension, Written Composition, Vocabulary, Spelling, Grammar, Fluency, Executive Functioning.
We believe that God has given all of us special gifts and talents to serve each other. Through our God given talents, we build our students skills to make learning productive and meaningful. Our academy uses holistic systematic materials and instruction that builds skills and confidence for our students to succeed. We believe all six domains of health and wellness are essential. Character development is taught through Biblical principles.
(Due to limited class sizes, please always check with our admissions office for openings and possible placement)

Community

As a part of ACA's program we offer community outings so that our students can generalize and apply the skills they have learned in the classroom. We feel that community outings are imperative because they give us the "hands-on" teaching opportunity so our students learn about our community, how to properly and safely access it, as well as how to behave appropriately. Teaching social language, how to get along with peers, and accessing the adults in the community is very important for our students.
Hot Springs is blessed with so many age appropriate community opportunities that are specific for our students, that ACA is able to expand it's classrooms outside of it's four walls!

Family
When a student feels overwhelmed, frustrated, anxious, and unable to succeed like their peers in school, the entire family is negatively impacted. ACA knows that a child is not made up merely of their academic ability however, when a student struggles the family is affected the most due to the complexity of dealing with child as well as trying to figure out what their child needs and where to get what they need. So many families describe the nightmare of homework and/or all the additional work a child must do just to barely keep up with their school work. If a child is behind and the family seeks academic help there can be additional costs as well as extra time added to an already tight family schedule. A student who academically feels less than their peers is at risk for behavior issues as well as depression. Just because a student can not learn like everyone else doesn't mean they can not learn, it just means they need a different way to learn! Families need to feel empowered and educated in regards to their child's ability to gain the skills and confidence to succeed. ACA's track record has proven time and time again that their educational programs are the keys to your child's success.
